Choose the type of map

Whether you choose to buy your Map Credits via your Memory-Map software or as a CD/DVD you need to choose the country and type of map you want, and how many credits you need. For example, you want to buy Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 scale Explorer™ maps and you need and area of around 750km². Memory-Map offers the widest range of maps and charts from the world's leading cartographic agencies. Browse the mapping available from the list on the left, or view the options through the software. 

When you buy Map Credits for a country and scale, they are added to your Memory-Map account for you to use whenever you need them. Map Credits are measured in square kilometers (km²) ready for you to download the areas of map you want.

Draw around the area you want

Within your software locate the area you want by browsing the base map and simply use the Route tool to draw around the area you need. You can download 1 large area or many small areas up to the limit of credits in your Memory-Map account. If you need more credits you can buy them through the software, or buy another CD/DVD to add to your account.

Download to your PC or Smartphone

When you're happy with the area you've selected simply activate it through you account and download it to your PC. You can even download areas directly to your Windows Mobile Smartphone or PDA using Pocket Navigator™.

Your map is now ready to use.
